Trees and Shrubs - Common Names
This is a list of all of the Common Names of species that appear on this site.
A note about Common Names
Common names of plants vary widely from region to region, from person to person, and from book to book.
The common names I have used for each species on this website are
usually the ones from Trees in Canada. There are some exceptions,
however.
I have included in this list all the common names that I am aware of.
Therefore, a species may be listed here more than once.
There is also on this site a list of just the common names I have used to identify each species on
this site (each species listed only once). CLICK HERE to go to that list. | |
