On this website, a plant is considered to be poisonous if eating or touching it may actually harm you or make you ill, or even kill you. A plant is not considered to be poisonous if it is simply not edible and eating it will only give you a stomach ache.

  • Ivy, Poison (Toxicodendron radicans) - Poisonous to touch.
  • Moonseed, Canada (Menispermum canadense) - Fruits are poisonous. They resemble those of wild grapes.
  • Sumac, Poison (Toxicodendron vernix) - Poisonous to touch. Causes a Poison Ivy-like rash
